This month to bring in the new year ASOS announced that their monthly Face and Body box was in collaboration with Deciem, The Abnormal Beauty Company. As all products featured in the box are part of the Deciem family they are all cruelty-free and free from Parabens, Sulphates and Mineral Oil.
The boxes change monthly with different companies getting the opportunity to showcase their products this box cost £15 which is a bargain with the retail value for the items when individually purchased being £68.
The box features 5 of the bestselling products from the NIOD and The Ordinary product ranges.
Products included in the box are from The Ordinary range:
-Ordinary's Squalane Cleanser 50ml (£5.50 RRP) which is a Squalane based facial cleanser and makeup remover. The use of Squalane in the product is said to help 'dissolve' makeup and reduce facial impurities.
-Ordinary's Natural Moisturising Factors + NA 30ml (£4.90 RRP) which is a non-greasy moisturiser which helps lock in moisture and keeps the skin protected and well-hydrated.
-Ordinary's Salicylic Acid 2% Masque 50ml (£9.99 RRP) This is a face mask which aims to improve clarity and smoothness of the skin and is specially formulated for blemish-prone skin although may not be suitable for those who have sensitive skin and patch testing is recommended.
The items featured from the NIOD range:
-NIOD's Photography Fluid Opacity 12% 30ml (RRP £20) This product is used instead of foundation but can be used in unison with if you so wish to help balance out discolouration and hide skin imperfections.
-NIOD's Multi-Molecular Hyaluronic Complex 15ml (RRP 25ml) is one of the highest-rated products that NIOD offer it offers intense water-based hydration. This is one of the must-have products from the range and the price of the box means can get your hands on this product for way less than the in-shop cost.
If you missed out on the ASOS x Deciem box you can still grab Ordinary's The Daily Set which includes The Ordinary products which are found in this box for £15 on their website but unfortunately, the NIOD are not included in this bundle but are still available for purchase on the Deciem website at the RRP prices listed.
